I am a connector with a passion for personal, team and leadership development towards set goals. I believe that each person has potential and want to help people discover what that is and how to make the most of it. I am keen to use this passion, in combination with my years of experience in business, to help individuals, teams and leaders continue developing.
For as long as I can remember I have been good at connecting with all kinds of different people. This has led to many intense and personal relationships as well as groups in which I play a pivotal role. This has generated trust which is the basis for development via coaching and training.
At KPN I experienced eight fun and instructive years, during which my love for coaching and the development of people grew and was confirmed. During the leadership and personal development courses I was allowed to follow, I often thought: that’s the chair – that of the coach/facilitator – I want to sit on! That is why I registered as a coach at the Chamber of Commerce in early 2015. I completed an ECA/EMCC-accredited training programme to become a professional coach. Later, I went through an ICF-accredited training for systemic team coach (Organisation Relationship Systems Coaching) in which I learned a lot about the added value of coaching teams through play and learned many, practical applicable forms of practice. I read (or rather, listened to) all kinds of professional literature. I found it fascinating and I noticed that clients appreciated it because it often shed a different light on existing coaching questions and challenges.
Over the past 10 years, I have been steadily building a nice client portfolio, with different types of organisations from different sectors. But with one focus: developing professionals, individually, in teams and/or as leaders. In my first year, I drank 150 cups of coffee with nice and interesting people from my network. Deliberately so many, to be able to be myself and not have to do any “weird tricks” to sell my coaching. The first assignments followed. After the start-up years, the cups of coffee little by little gave way to exciting individual, team and leadership projects, in which we will only work together if 1) there is a personal click from both sides and 2) we are both convinced that I can help answer a/the coaching question with my expertise.
